Its the fall/winter time and I know how a lot of you like your Chai Tea Latte’s or Vanilla Chai Tea’s, but what about a Chai Tea smoothie to start your morning? Here is a simple recipe to include your favorite Chai tea in. A little more prep as you have to make your tea, but you can always make a big batch the night before and have it ready to add to your blender in the morning.
- 1/2 cup of your favorite brewed Chai Tea
- 1/2 cup of soy or rice milk (hey even almond should be good)
- pinch of cinnamon
- pinch of ginger
- 1 large banana (frozen chunks if you can)
- 1/2-1 cup of crushed ice
Brew up that tea and let it cool a bit then pour it in the blender with everything else adding the ice during the blending. Blend well for 30-60 secs then pour into your favorite glass!
Honestly I have never had Chai Tea, so Im going to have to try this myself.
