I love Kiwi and everyone loves Watermelon so this makes a perfect smoothie to start your day with. I also added a banana to give it a little more creaminess. If you dont feel like dicing up a whole watermelon most supermarkets offer pre diced in little containers. A bit more expensive but a definite time saver.
3 cups diced watermelon
2 whole kiwi’s
3 cups of ice
1 teaspoon of ground flax seed (optional)
Makes about 4-5 cups
Little note on the kiwi, be sure you peel it first or you’ll have a very fuzzy not so smoothie An easy to peel is to cut off both ends. The insert a table spoon just under the skin, back of spoon to the skin. Push it in then carefully turn the kiwi keep ing the spoon close to the skin. Once all the way around the kiwi will just slide out. Another note, if you add things like the flax seed and protein your smoothie color may not look like most pictures.
