Its best with all blenders to start out adding your liquids, then your softer items and last put in your harder ingredients (like ice and frozen fruits). This especially true for your lower end blenders that are not that powerful. This will make it easier for your blender to get going and be less of a strain. Also start off at a lower speed and quickly work up to the highest.

Cleaning your blender

When you are done rinse out the container. Then fill it up about 1/2 to 3/4 full of hot soapy water. Next just run the blender then rinse again! its that easy and ready again for your lunch time smoothy!
